Heavily pregnant and make-up free Halle Berry looks exhausted as she heads out for family dinner to celebrate her 47th birthday

It's no wonder she's tired! Heavily pregnant and make-up free Halle Berry looks exhausted as she heads out for family dinner to celebrate her 47th birthday

Pregnancy is often an exhausting time for an expectant mother.
And Halle Berry looked as though her pregnancy was taking it's toll as she she stepped out for dinner on Friday in Santa Monica.
The actress was seen heading out to celebrate her 47th birthday with new husband Olivier and daugher Nahla with a low-key family dinner at a restaurant in Santa Monica.

Halle maintained her chic pregnancy style in a sleeveless long white dress with a lurex glittery effect and an interesting drape detail around the bust which showed off her burgeoning bump.
She kept the rest of her look simple yet elegant with small gold stud earrings and a delicate gold necklace and a couple of gold bangles as her only accessories.
She wore chic yet comfortable footwear, a pair of black patent strappy flat sandals with a pretty gold coin detail.
Halle looked to be completely make-up free and whilst the star is known for her flawless and youthful complexion, she did appear to have rather large dark circles under her eyes which further showed her exhaustion.

Her husband Olivier meanwhile wore a pair of smart dark blue jeans and a dark olive-coloured shirt as he carried step-daughter Nahla.
The adorable five-year-old looked very pretty in a burnt orange dress and a pair of white sandals.
She clutched a brightly coloured gift bag which no doubt had plenty of goodies for her mum.
Halle doesn't have too long to go now as she is reportedly due to give birth in a month.
However, with a new baby to add to her family it is unlikely the star is going to be getting much rest anytime soon.

Halle Berry: Paparazzi Told My Daughter, ‘You May Not See Your Father Again’

Aug 13, 2013 3:03pm
Halle Berry and Jennifer Garner appeared at the California State Capitol today to testify before the Assembly Judiciary Committee in support of a new bill that would modify the definition of harassment and, they believe, better protect their children.
Berry, 46, has a 5-year-old daughter, Nahla, with her ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry and is expecting her first child with her new husband, French actor Olivier Martinez. The Oscar-winning actress said thatduring a custody battle over Nahla  in which Aubry blocked her from moving to France with Martinez, paparazzi baited the child with taunting questions.
“‘How do you feel, Nahla? You may not see your father again. How do you feel about that?’” Berry said they would ask her child, adding that she had hoped to move to Europe to escape the constant media glare. “They say curse words and call me names, all trying to provoke some sort of response to sell a photograph.”
Naturally, her daughter is confused by the attention, and “doesn’t want to go to preschool anymore” because she’s always trailed, Berry said.
She’d ask, “‘Why did they say that to me, mommy? What does that mean? Who are these men and why are they following us?’” Berry said, before introducing fellow celeb mom Jennifer Garner. “We aren’t just whiny celebrities. … We’re moms who are just trying to protect our children.”
Garner, who said that a threatening stalker once trailed her with a crowd of photographers and hid behind her daughter’s school, cried when discussing the treatment of her family.
“I chose a public life … [but] my three children are private citizens,” she said. “I love my kids. They’re beautiful and sweet and innocent, and I don’t want a gang of shouting, arguing, lawbreaking photographers who camp out everywhere we are all day every day to continue traumatizing my kids.”
After a  lengthy debate, the bill passed.
“I hope this is a nice gift to you from this committee,” Bob Wieckowski, California State Assembly member and chairman of the committee that passed the bill, told Berry, acknowledging her birthday on Wednesday.
The bill now heads to the Appropriations Committee.

Actress Halle Berry is, undeniably, Hollywood royalty. The Cleveland-born star was the first-ever African-American woman to take home the Academy Award for Best Actress for Monster's Ball in 2002. The Revlon spokeswoman’s fashion choices are equally inspiring, evoking timeless elegance juxtaposed with her signature cropped haircut.

Jennifer Garner, right, describes how paparazzi aggressively follow her and her three children daily. Garner and Halle Berry, left, testified before the Assembly Judiciary Committee in support of a bill that would limit the ability of paparazzi to photograph children of celebrities and public figures.
SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Actresses Halle Berry and Jennifer Garner urged California lawmakers Tuesday to support legislation that they say would help them better protect their children from the paparazzi that follow them daily.
The stars testified before the Assembly Judiciary Committee regarding SB606, which would impose tougher penalties on photographers who harass celebrities and their children.
It was Berry's second state Capitol appearance on the measure. The Academy Award-winning actress, who is pregnant, told lawmakers the constant presence of photographers yelling and snapping pictures has made her daughter scared to go to school.

"As mothers, as parents, we don't have the wherewithal or the law in place right now to protect them from this," Berry said. "What this bill would do is give us our rights back so that we can protect our children."
The bill from Sen. Kevin de Leon, D-Los Angeles, would change the definition of harassment to include photographing or recording a child without the permission of a legal guardian by following the child or guardian's activities or by lying in wait. It also increases the penalties for people convicted of such behavior.
The bill passed the panel without opposition and now heads to the Appropriations Committee.
Garner, who starred in the ABC series "Alias," nearly cried describing how paparazzi aggressively follow her and her three young children as she takes them to school and to the pediatrician.
She told the committee that she understood she would make certain sacrifices when she chose a career in acting but that her children have not made the same decision to be in the public spotlight.
"I don't want a gang of shouting, arguing, law-breaking photographers who camp out everywhere we are, all day, every day, to continue to traumatize my kids," Garner said.
Media organizations are concerned the bill will restrict journalists who are conducting legitimate newsgathering activities.
Joe Berry of the California Broadcasters Association said harassment is already illegal. The legislation "is overly broad and overly reaches in order to rein in these bad actors," he testified.
De Leon told the committee he believes pending amendments will satisfy some concerns about the bill.

Halle Berry was told to be ''sexier'' when she was a Bond girl.
The 46-year-old actress - who was pictured emerging from the water in an orange bikini for in a classic scene in 2002' s 'Die Another Day' - was urged to up her sex appeal for the shots, and she joked if she tried any harder to pose she would displace the alignment of her hip joint.
She told Total Film magazine: ''The sea was freezing! I had to do it quite a few times too. I went in the water and I went out the water. Then I had to walk up the beach in a 'certain way'.
''They kept saying, 'Can you be sexier?', and I was like shouting back at them, 'this is all the sexy I got! I'm gonna get hip dysplasia if I try and make it any sexier!' ''
Although the brunette beauty hinted Pierce Brosnan is her favourite James Bond, she applauded Daniel Craig for his sex appeal.
Halle added: ''I thought that [Daniel's emerging from the sea shot] was pretty sexy. I was like, good for him! I worked with Pierce, so I'll always have my favourite...''
Although she was banned from watching the spy films when she was growing up her appreciation for the action flick grew with time.
Quizzed on whether she thought she would be a Bond girl when she was younger, she explained: ''My mother thought the Bond films were too adult for me to watch when I was growing up, so I never really had a chance to think about it.
''It was only as I got older I became aware of Bond.''
