She was pictured looking downcast on Saturday after daughter Nahla spent the weekend with her father Gabriel Aubry. 
But Halle Berry looked to have cheered up somewhat on Monday with the little girl joining her for a trip to the grocery store.
The four-year-old happily sat in Halle's shopping cart which was laden with groceries from upmarket store Bristol Farms in Beverly Hills.

She was pushed along in the special trolley seat before Halle lifted the growing youngster into their car.
Both mother and daughter looked casual for their trip, with Halle sporting a black sleeveless top, jeans and black and gold boots.
Her daughter was dressed in a white sleeveless T-shirt, blue shorts and pink shoes.
Halle spent the weekend with her fiancé Olivier Martinez, while Nahla enjoyed a day with Gabriel who took her horse riding at a Halloween festival in Studio City.

The four-year-old sported a princess dress as she rode on a miniature pony and was later seen giving her father a hug after their day out.
Halle is currently awaiting a court decision on whether she can taker her four-year-old to live in France with Martinez, who is a French national.
Gabriel is hoping the family court will rule in his favour as he attempts to keep his daughter in the U.S.
After four years together, Berry and Aubrey split in early 2010, when Nahla was two.

Glum: Halle looked glum as she stepped out in Beverly Hills with fiance Olivier Martinez at the weekend

The separation started amicably, with Gabriel stating at the time that their daughter's 'happiness and well-being are the most important thing for both of us'.
By mid-2010, the Monster's Ball actress had started dating Martinez, her co-star in the forgettable movie Dark Tide.
Gabriel, meanwhile, started dating Kim Kardashian in November of the same year, though the relationship lasted just a few weeks.
For reasons not entirely clear, relations between Berry and Aubrey seemed to deteriorate in late 2010, culminating in a decision by Aubrey to file for joint custody of their daughter.

Berry struck back in public with a statement to People magazine expressing 'serious concerns for her daughter's well-being' with Aubry, and the battle was taken into a Los Angeles courtroom.

It was later reported that a judge had ordered the X-Men actress to pay her former lover $20,000 a month in child support.
By early 2012, Halle and Olivier's engagement was announced, and the actress wanted to move to France - and take Nahla with her.
Aubrey strongly objects to the plan, and the two will be back in court over the issue.
