Halle Berry: New film The Call left me scarred for life

HALLE BERRY’S latest film The Call sees the actress take on the role of an emergency operator trying to rescue a girl from a serial killer.

However, it seems to have had a long-lasting effect on Halle as she reveals that filming left her emotionally scarred for life. “I won’t go in a parking garage alone ever again after making this movie,” says the 46-year-old.
“To realise what these people do and how much responsibility they have and how calm they have to be, it’s amazing. They are really the unsung heroes of the city.”
And it seems that the film has reignited the Catwoman star’s girl-power spirit. “We don’t often get great characters like this to play as women, unfortunately. And this is a really good movie for us girls.”
