American
actress Halle Berry is all set to appear in an Oscars-inspired
episode of popular sitcom,
The Simpsons.
The 43-year-old actress will play herself in a story which see her present an Academy Award to both Bart Simpson and his dad Homer, Entertainment Weekly reported.
"It's a bit of a satire of the different Oscar acceptances where two people clearly race to the stage to get there first, and Homer and Bart are fighting to be the one that accepts," said the producer of the show, Al Jean.
Apart from Berry,
I Love You, Man star Paul Rudd has also been added to the list of stars who will get animated for the show, portraying a therapist, called Dr Zander.
The longest-running sitcom on American television,
The Simpsons has hosted the likes of Betty White, Mark Cuban, Lance Armstrong and the Manning brothers, as voice characters in the past.
