OSCAR-winning actress Halle Berry has tied the knot with her French film star fella Olivier Martinez.
The couple wed yesterday in a "down-to-earth" ceremony at the plush Chateau des Conde in Vallery, France, according to reports.
The newlyweds are said to have exchanged vows during a civil ceremony, which was then followed by a religious service at the Chateau.
Around 60 guests attended the bash - including Halle's five-year-old daughter Nahla.

Snaps showed Halle, 46, who was wearing what appeared to be a white dress with embellished straps, arriving at the venue in a white vintage Citroen DS.
The star, who is expecting a son with Olivier, 47, later this year, was then shielded from prying eyes, as she made her way into the building, by security men who held up white sheets.
An insider told Us Weekly magazine: "White marquees were put up, and everyone was very discreet because it was a showbusiness wedding. But generally it was pretty down to earth."
The couple are reported to have enjoyed a celebratory dinner, fireworks display and dancing.

The source added: "They all partied long into the night."
This is the third marriage for Monster's Ball star Halle.
She was previously wed to baseball player David Justice and R&B singer Eric Benet.
And after her second marriage ended in divorce, Halle insisted she would not be walking down the aisle again.

She said: "I will never, never get married again."
But a close friend recently revealed how meeting Olivier, who previously dated Kylie Minogue, had changed her mind.
The pal added: "She trusts Olivier. He makes her feel safe. He's a keeper!"
Halle and Olivier began dating after meeting on the set of Dark Tides in August 2010.
They announced their engagement less than two years later in March 2012.

Despite expecting her second child around October, former Bond girl Halle is showing no signs of slowing down in her professional life.
She revealed recently: "There's a movie called Shoe Addicts Anonymous that's a comedy.
"I've been wanting to do a rom-com for a very long time, and this is my chance. That could happen very soon after I have my next child.
"I started off doing rom-coms early in my career, but after Monster's Ball everybody thought that's all I wanted to do or should do."

Halle flaunts ample assets on the beach

HALLE Berry was lucky she wasn’t mistaken for a beach ball stall as she paraded her bountiful assets in Hawaii.
The actress flaunted her boobs in a bikini top, ensuring her chest was left exposed after covering up in a sheer beach dress.
Halle was all smiles as she enjoyed some family time with her man Olivier Martinez and five-year-old daughter Nahla.
Despite all the attention she gets, the screen siren recently revealed her little girl is unaware of her mum’s A-list status.
She said: “She really doesn’t know. She thinks I wear pretty dresses, that that’s my job.”

Last year, the male model brawled with French actor Olivier before the tumultuous trio called a truce in November.

Halle Berry: I love being in films... but my greatest role is being a mum - The Sun

Halle Berry: I love being in films... but my greatest role is being a mum

- Says Hollywood glamour girl on the joys of motherhood

HALLE BERRY’S mantelpiece must be groaning under the weight of all her acting awards – 19 so far, with an Oscar, an Emmy and a Golden Globe all jostling for prime position.
But the Hollywood beauty has no glittering gong to mark the role she is proudest of — being a mother.
Halle, 46, says: “Being a mom puts things into perspective about what we take and share in life.
“It’s a matter of juggling and finding what comes natural.
“Being a mother is probably the most important thing in my life.
“Career is important, but nothing really supersedes my role as a mother. That’s the most important thing I’m going to do in this life at this point.”
The former model and Bond girl came to motherhood relatively late.

Until her daughter Nahla was born four years ago, Halle’s acting career had always come first with notable appearances in the X-Men films, Die Another Day, Swordfish, Catwoman and Monster’s Ball in 2001, for which she won her Best Actress Oscar.
“I was 41 when I had Nahla and I think I was right to have waited,” says Halle, whose latest film Cloud Atlas opens in cinemas a week on Friday.
“I don’t think I would have been as good a mother in my 20s or even in my 30s as I’m able to be now.
“It took me time to figure out so many things in my life — who I was, how to become happy — before I could reach the point where I could be the kind of mother I wanted to be.”
Nahla already shares her mum’s love of films.
Halle says: “I like Nahla to see movies rather than be watching a lot of TV.
“The last few years I’ve been watching a lot of children’s films with her and it’s opened me up to her world.
“It’s fascinating to be able to see life through the eyes of your child.
“It simplifies a lot. You don’t feel as stressed as you normally would dealing with all the problems that tend to accumulate in the adult world.”

She has certainly had her share of stressful problems in the adult world — ones which erupted into violence late last year.
Her fiance, French actor Olivier Martinez and her ex Gabriel Aubry, who is Nahla’s dad, exchanged punches outside her Los Angeles home in November.
Both men had to be treated in hospital for their injuries. Halle had wanted to move to France with Nahla, but ex model Aubry went to court to stop them. Then things descended into fisticuffs.
She and Aubry have since reached an amicable custody agreement.
Twice-divorced Halle reckons she has finally found happiness with Olivier, who once dated Kylie Minogue, following a series of “wrong choices”.
Her first marriage, to baseball player David Justice, lasted three years, while her second, to singer Eric Benét, ended after four. Her five-year relationship with Aubry ended in April 2010. Shortly after they split up she started dating Martinez, her co-star in the thriller Dark Tide.

Halle reckons not having a father figure in her life has something to do with her past romantic failures. Her estranged dad Jerome left the family home in Cleveland, Ohio, after he and her mum Judith divorced when Halle was just four.
She says: “I think not having had a father when I was growing up affected me negatively because I didn’t have a good role model to follow.
“It’s hard to admit you’ve made the wrong choices and gone through a lot of grief because of that.
“But you learn from your mistakes. I see things much more clearly now. I’m very happy.”
She was also thrilled to be cast in Cloud Atlas alongside Tom Hanks, Jim Broadbent, Ben Whishaw and Susan Sarandon.
In one of the most challenging projects she has ever undertaken, Halle plays SIX different characters who are spiritually linked through time, including a Maori tribeswoman, a sexually-frustrated white Jewish wife and a MALE Asian doctor.

“I never could have imagined being part of any film like this,” says Halle with a smile. “Playing a white Jewish woman was one thing, but playing an Asian man like Dr Ovid was something else.
“I loved it. Never in my life would I have thought anybody would hire me to be an Asian man.
“The film talks about the human soul and how an evil person can be transformed into a hero, in another body, after a single act of kindness. This film is something unique — I doubt if I’ll ever get the chance to be part of this kind of a project again.”
Making the epic reincarnation movie, an adaptation of British author David Mitchell’s best-seller, prompted Halle to look back on events and decisions which dramatically changed the course of her own life.
She says: “I believe you can experience very profound moments of change in life.
“I never would have become an actress if I hadn’t dropped out of high school.
“I was so driven to pursue my dreams that I made a decision to quit school at 17 so I could find my voice as an actress.”

Yet it looked like Halle would have to pull out of Cloud Atlas when she broke her foot two days before the start of shooting.
She admits: “I thought they were going to give me my walking papers. But they threw out their initial schedule and gave up any hope of shooting in chronological order.”
Fortunately for Halle, kindhearted Tom Hanks decided to be her nursemaid on set.
She reveals: “Tom was a dream partner during the making of the film.

“Because of my broken foot, each day Tom would play nurse to me. He’d bring me coffee and soup and just stay with me during breaks in shooting because it was difficult for me to move around.”

HALLE Berry smothers her boobs in guacamole during a raunchy scene in her shocking new film.
The actress joins a star studded line-up in Movie 43 - a series of sketches following three kids' quest to find the most banned film in the world.
Halle stars alongside The Office funny man Stephen Merchant in her skit.
And director Peter Farrelly reveals the 46-year-old beauty was so determined to shock - she begged him to make her role more rude.
He said: "Halle Berry called me and said, ‘I thought you said this is a hard R (rated). It’s too soft.’ So, we came up with a scene where she puts her breasts in guacamole.”

It's not the first time she has bared her boobs on screen - she was famously paid an extra $500,000 (£315,000) to whip them out in 2001 film Swordfish.
Halle also showcased her fabulous figure in a bikini in James Bond film Die Another Day.
And stripped totally naked to romp with Billy Bob Thornton in ultra-realistic sex scenes in Monster's Ball.

But this will be the first time we've seen them covered in Mexican dip!
Film fans will be able to feast their eyes on Halle's avocado-covered assets when Movie 43 hits cinemas on January 25.

Oscar winners seldom have looked as silly as they do in “Movie 43,” a collection of ridiculous comedy sketches starring luminous Hollywood names.
“Even I was embarrassed when I asked Kate Winslet and Halle Berry to do what I asked them to do in this movie,” says Peter Farrelly, one of the movie’s many directors.
“What shocked me is both of these ladies pushed for more,” he says. “Halle Berry called me and said, ‘I thought you said this is a hard R. It’s too soft.’ So, we came up with a scene where she puts her breasts in guacamole.”
Also acting the fool are Josh Duhamel, Richard Gere, Uma Thurman, Emma Stone, Hugh Jackman, Naomi Watts, Richard Gere, Liev Schreiber, Chloe Grace Moretz, Elizabeth Banks, Gerard Butler, Kristen Bell, Anna Faris, Jason Sudeikis, Kate Bosworth and Johnny Knoxville.
“Basically no one got paid,” Farrelly says. “They got $800 a day. These people are in this film because they wanted to do it. They thought it was funny.”
Farrelly’s past work includes the ’90s crowd-pleasers “There’s Something About Mary” and “Dumb and Dumber.” A sequel is in the works for the latter, and Farrelly says Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels are on board.
“A year ago,” he says, “Jim called me and said, ‘I’m in a hotel watching ‘Dumb & Dumber’ and I’m howling with laughter. Let’s make another one.’ ”
He and brother Bobby have never made a sequel. “Believe me, the studios have wanted them,” he says. “The studio called and said, ‘What about “There’s Something Else About Mary?” ’ We said, ‘That movie is done. We don’t want to do a money grab.’ ”
So why a “Dumb and Dumber” sequel? “That story is not done,” he says. “They ended up exactly where they started.”
