It is perhaps the most bitter of all Hollywood custody battles.
And it looks like tensions between Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry have stepped up a notch, as was grilled by his ex-lover's lawyer today.
According to TMZ, the male model was questioned under oath as the Catwoman star tries to win permission to move their daughter Nahla all the way to France.
According to the website Berry's legal council hope to prove that his modelling schedule would mean he has plenty of free time to travel back and forth from the US to Europe to visit his four-year-old little girl.

Gabriel, 36,was pictured in Los Angeles at LAX Airport yesterday, and will have to do a lot more travelling if his former partner has her way.
He attended the office of her lawyer Stephen Kolodny today, following a strategy meeting lunch with his own lawyer Gary Fishbein.
He did not want to talk to reporters on the scene as he made his way to the appointment.
According to sources however, Halle's lawyer will ask Gabriel about his work commitments.
It is claimed he works sporadically as a model and she thinks he can still maintain a meaningful relationship with his daughter even if it is a long-distance one.
Dragged along? It is unclear if Nahla wants to move to Paris with Halle and Olivier instead of staying in the US

It is also believed Kolodny will ask Gabriel about Halle's allegations that he has neglected Nahla and even put her in danger.
This could relate to previous allegations by the nanny employed by the actress that he had pushed her, though the charges were dropped by police.
The subject of money will also be a hot topic, as the Canadian is asking Halle to pay child support and his lawyer's fees.
The 45-year-old Monster's Ball actress is desperate to move to Paris with Nahla and fiancé Olivier Martinez.
However Gabriel is vigorously opposing the proposed move, which must be approved by the custody judge.

Halle Berry can't help but flaunt her emerald sparkler from fiance Olivier Martin

Yes, we know you are engaged! Halle Berry can't help but flaunt her emerald sparkler from fiance Olivier Martin

Olivier Martinez confirmed the news two weeks ago that he proposed to his girlfriend of nearly two years.
And now Halle Berry seemingly can't help but flaunt her stunning engagement ring.
The 45-year-old actress outrightly flashed the sparkler as she left a friend's house in Studio City today.

Holding her left hand in the air, she appeared to make the point of showing the jewellery off for all to see.

Dressed in a pair of casual rolled-up jeans and a relaxed striped T-shirt, the Catwoman star also flashed her midsection as she knocked on her friend's gate.
For weeks rumours had been flying around that Halle and Olivier had gotten engaged after she was first seen wearing the emerald ring back in January.
And just two weeks ago the French actor confirmed that they are indeed planning to tie the knot.
Martinez was at the opening of his new restaurant Villa Azur in South Beach when he spoke of the happy news.
'Yes, of course it's true,' the 46-year-old told The Miami Herald proudly.
But Martinez also wanted to dispel a report from a jeweller who had been bragging he had designed the ring for the bride-to-be.

'There is a jeweller taking credit for doing the ring and it's a lie,' he said. 'They have nothing to do with this.'
The sparkler was actually designed by Robert Mazlo who is a Parisian jeweller based in Saint-Germain-de-Pres.
Martinez said he was a 'real artist' who made jeweller for 'kings and queens for many centuries.'

This will be Halle's third marriage after failed relationships with former baseball star David Justice and soul singer Eric Benét.
She has a three-year-old daughter, Nahla, with Canadian model Gabriel Aubry although the pair are currently embroiled in a bitter custody dispute.
Olivier has grown very close to the little girl and they have often been seen playing together and being affectionate towards each other.
Meanwhile, Olivier has dated a long list of actresses and models including Mira Sorvino, Kylie Minogue and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
The pair met while filming their new movie Dark Tide in South Africa in 2010.

Tall order for French actor Olivier Martinez, aka Halle Berry’s fiancé, as he opens his very own Miami Beach restaurant.
Martinez, who starred in Unfaithful and Blood and Chocolate, is scheduled to be at Villa Azur on 23rd Street for the VIP grand opening Thursday night. He becomes the latest in a long list of celebrities who have tried their hands at the hospitality business here.
Most have failed.
Remember Marisa Tomei? She owned a place on Lincoln Road called Suva. The My Cousin Vinny Oscar winner had her say in the dishes on the menu. Lasted about a year.
How about Cameron Diaz’s Asian fusion eatery, Bambu, also on Lincoln? The actress opened it because she hadn’t been able to find a good Asian restaurant while doing There’s Something About Mary in Miami.
It was gone in less than 18 months.
Other tombstones in the celeb-eatery cemetery: Ricky Martin’s Casa Salsa on Ocean Drive, we hardly knew ya; Dirty Rotten Scoundrels star Michael Caine’ s South Beach Brasserie, the bangers and mash felled it.
More recently, Miami Heat superstar Dwyane Wade had the D-Wade’s chain grow three strong in Aventura, Fort Lauderdale, and Boca. It all ended three months later in a legal disaster.
“For celebrities, a restaurant is just an investment,” said restaurant broker Tom Prakas, who negotiated leases for D-Wade’s and Danny DeVito’s DeVito South Beach, shuttered after two years. “They show up a couple times a year then that’s it. A restaurant, however, is about the food and the service.
“If those aren’t any good, no one’s going back.”
That’s not to say, Prakas added, that a celebrity’s restaurant is a guarantee for bad food or crummy service.
Look at Nobu, Meet The Parents actor Robert DeNiro’s sushi joint in Miami Beach’s Shore Club. It’ll soon be 10 years. Gloria Estefan’s Bongos? Going on 16 years.
What about Martinez’s southern French cuisine emporium? The Art Deco décor sure is breathtaking.
“Halle Berry showing up would help for a short time,” Prakas said. “But then, you also got to eat. There are only so many times you want to see Halle Berry.”

Halle to host Revlon Run/Walk on 12th May

Stone, Wilde and Berry to host charity run

Emma Stone, Olivia Wilde and Halle Berry have pledged their support to an upcoming charity walk to raise money for cancer research.
Stone will join Wilde to kick off the EIF (Entertainment Industry Foundation) Revlon Run/Walk for Women in New York on May 5, while Berry will host the Los Angeles leg of the event a week later.
Berry, who has previously supported the fundraiser, explains, "It is almost impossible to describe the feeling of standing before tens of thousands of women, men and children at the EIF Revlon Run/Walk. There is such unity, emotion and hope among the participants and it is truly an honor to once again lend my name to the event and the ongoing fight against women's cancers."
Stone adds, "Like too many others, my life has been touched by cancer, so the EIF Revlon Run/Walk is very close to my heart and a big reason why I wanted to become a Revlon Ambassador. I am truly honored and excited to be part of this inspirational event and to walk side-by-side in unity with the other participants in our fight to find a cure for women's cancers.
"I encourage everyone, including those not able to attend the event, to find a way to support the cause and the Run/Walk."
