Halle Berry shows off her design skills - and perfect pins - in behind-the-scenes glimpse of shoot for new shoe collection

Halle Berry shows off her design skills - and perfect pins - in behind-the-scenes glimpse of shoot for new shoe collection

She's been busy filming throughout the summer, but it appears Halle Berry still found the time to create a shoe collection.
And as she stepped out to model her fall range in collaboration with German footwear company Deichmann, her enviably toned pins were also on show.
Wearing a number of different outfits, including a thigh-skimming mini-skirt and tight leather trousers, to compliment her heel and wedged designs the 45-year-old X Men star looked happy and relaxed as she posed in front of the cameras.

It is the second time Halle has launched a line under the '5ths Avenue by Halle Berry' label for the European retailer.
The film star's spring/summer range included 40 limited edition shoes featuring peep toes with wedge heels, high-heeled sandals with straps and high-heeled sling sandals on wedge heels.
She recently revealed that on the first fashion shoot which took place earlier this year, she was nursing a broken leg, after she fell and injured herself in a film set in Spain just weeks before it was scheduled.

The Oscar-winner said: 'I broke my foot in Spain right before the last shoot. And actually I did the ad shoot with a broken foot.
'When I got back home my foot was still as broken as it was the day I broke it. I went into a hard cast and now I'm 100 per cent.'
Berry created the 5th Avenue collection with the footwear firm's designers and hopes that her latest line will be a hit with friends back in LA.
She says, 'I gave some of the shoes to some of my friends back in LA and one of the greatest compliments that came back was how comfortable the shoes really are. I think that's for women today and how much we are on our feet and how much we walk.

'Having a shoe that's comfortable as well as stylish is just as important as being affordable quite honestly.'
And Berry admits she's also a big fan of the shoe line: 'I wear what's comfortable. I wear sort of seasonal shoes, like the collection now is for fall and winter. So I always try to stay within the season in the country that I'm in. But I go for fashionable comfort.'
Deichmann owner Heinrich Deichmann added: 'We are very pleased that Halle Berry is our new partner. She is an internationally renowned artist and a global style icon.'
The company, which is Europe's largest shoe retailer with more that 50 UK stores, has previously signed up Cindy Crawford, the Pussycat Dolls and the Sugababes to promote its shoes.

Halle Berry still hasn't forgiven Robert Downey Jr. for accidentally breaking her arm

BANG Showbiz | Monday, August 27, 2012 (London)

Halle Berry suffered the injury when they were filming Gothika together in 2003, but she doesn't feel he sufficiently apologised about the incident, and still avoids him around Hollywood.

A source said: "She didn't think he was sorry enough. He didn't even send flowers. Whenever she sees him in town she won't talk to him."

Halle has talked of the injury, which lost her weeks of work, hinting that it happened carelessly.

She said: "It wasn't like I was trying to fall 50 feet and just fell wrong or did something crazy. I was shooting a scene with Robert and he grabbed my arm the wrong way and broke it."

Robert has also previously talked about the injury, playing down that it was entirely his fault.

He said: "It was an accident, I'm sorry if she's still upset. I did everything I had to do to keep my side of the street clean. I wish her the best."

Olivier Martinez and Halle Berry announced their engagement earlier this year.

It's time to bring out the big guns.
Halle Berry plans to introduce a new key player - fiancé Olivier Martinez - into her ongoing custody battle with ex Gabriel Aubry, TMZ reports.
Martinez, who is a famous actor in his native France, will be able to make a strong case supporting Berry's desire to move her young daughter Nahla to Paris, the site explains, because he is very familiar with France's strict paparazzi laws.
In France, taking photos of young children is firmly frowned upon, and Berry insists that these stricter paparazzi laws would help her feel safer when she's out and about with young Nahla.
Berry, 46, initially filed papers requesting permission to move her 4-year-old daughter out of the states back in February, but Aubrey, 36, has been resistant to letting the couple's daughter go so easily.
But Aubrey's argument to keep Nahla in the states is fast crumbling.

At the time, the male model was being investigated for child endangerment charges following an alleged altercation with nanny Alliance Kamden, and had to attend anger management classes for the sake of his daughter.
And now, TMZ reports, his case against Berry's request is growing weaker by the minute, with the male model's expert witnesses faltering at the stand.
Berry has also called upon other bold-faced names to assist her in her custody case, including Hollywood pal Salma Hayek, who is married to French billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault.
In a confidential court declaration, Hayek argued that her young daughter Valentina is safer in France than in the States, a source confirmed to the Daily News.

Halle Berry Turns 46 And We’re In Awe Of Her Timeless Beauty - VH1 Celebrity

Halle Berry Turns 46 And We’re In Awe Of Her Timeless Beauty

    by Jessie Rubin

Much to our disbelief, Halle Berry is turning 46 today. If we had one wish in this life, we’d probably wish to age as gracefully as she has (after wishing for world peace, of course). Halle has been gracing us with her presence onscreen and on the red carpet since 1989, and we’re pretty sure that she looks just a beautiful now as she did then. Halle started out on Living Dolls but her real breakthrough role was in Spike Lee‘s Jungle Fever. Fast forward to 2000, and Berry was in blockbuster territory, donning a white wig to transform into the comic-book hero Storm in X-Men. She found her niche in the action movie scene and took on the role as James Bond’s feisty sidekick Jinx in Die Another Day. She really turned heads as soon as she stepped out in that amazing orange bikini! From there on out Berry was everywhere, including on the Oscars stage, accepting the Best Actress award for her roll in Monster’s Ball. In more recent news, we learned that Halle will be appearing with a different kind of monster, on an upcoming episode of Sesame Street. She will appear in a segment with Elmo, explaining the word “nibble.” Not quite sure what to expect with that, but we might actually tune in. We’re also really looking forward to seeing her performance in Cloud Atlas, which will be in theaters this October.
Halle Berry has become a household name with her talent and undeniable beauty. So for her 46th birthday, we’re celebrating how stunning she’s always been and has become over the years.
