Conan O’Brien may not have much to talk to Jay Leno about these days, but the rival talk-show hosts do share at least one thing in common: They both go a little gaga in the presence of Halle Berry. Leno couldn’t help ogling Berry when she stopped by “The Tonight Show” Monday night wearing a plunging black minidress. On Wednesday, it was O’Brien’s turn to lose his cool over the Oscar-winning beauty, meaning that, in one way at least, he’s still following Leno.
After a fun flashback to an appearance Berry made 20 years ago on a very early episode of O’Brien’s NBC talk show "Late Night," wearing a hat that looked like it was borrowed from the “Blossom” wardrobe department, the conversation turned to her line of perfumes – specifically, how and where to apply them. Not surprisingly, this is when O’Brien started to get a little hot under the collar.
Feigning ignorance, he asked Berry for some pointers in the delicate art of perfume-wearing. “Feel free to touch me anywhere you want,” he offered selflessly.
With a bottle of her most recent scent, Closer, in hand, Berry then ordered O’Brien to take his pants off.
As eager as he was to fulfill his “Catholic fantasy,” O’Brien kept his trousers on. Berry, however, seemed determined to torture her host.
“You're supposed to spray it in between your thighs, and then it heats up and the aroma rises up all day long,” she helpfully explained, sending O’Brien into a state of delirium.
“Oh my God,” he replied, head in hand. “I just time-traveled while you were saying that.”
It’s OK, Conan. We’re guessing you’re not the only one.

A 911 operator may be one of the most under appreciated jobs out there. But maybe not after The Call comes out on Friday.
Halle Berry plays Jordan Turner, a veteran worker at the so-called Hive call center in Los Angeles, who has to keep an even keel trying to save an abducted teenager ( Abigail Breslin) locked in a trunk with a cellphone.
The Oscar winner ( Monster's Ball) was at the Mandarin Oriental Miami Hotel to talk about the thriller, with her costar Morris Chestnut ( Think Like A Man), who plays a cop and Jordan's love interest.

He is used to looking most of his guests in the eye when he interviews them on his late night talk show.
But Jay Leno looked somewhat mesmerized by a provocatively dressed Halle Berry when she appeared on The Tonight Show on Monday evening.
The Catwoman star displayed wore a daring strapless LBD with a silver trim which drew the attention to her bustline as she sat opposite the 62-year-old.

How low can you go?: Halle Berry wore an incredibly low-cut dress on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno on Monday
Halle's strapless ensemble left the actress looking on the very edge of a wardrobe malfunction as she perched on Leno's sofa.
The silver-lined black frock also displayed a snippet of the actress's toned tummy with a small gap continuing down her torso.
And the revealing dress also had a high hemline, allowing Halle to show off her extremely long and toned legs.
Jay didn’t keep his thoughts to himself, and after saying that Halle’s Oscars gown was his favourite, the TV star added: ‘I like this dress better’.
Easily distracted: Unsurprisingly Jay Leno couldn't stop staring at the actress' ample cleavage
He can't resist: The talk show host was shamelessly flirting with his curvy guest as they chatted animatedly
Halle revealed the story behind her striking Academy Awards metallic dress, and the fact that she came very close to sporting something else when her frock almost didn’t arrive in time.
‘I had a conversation with Donatella Versace and told her that I really want to go to the Oscars as a Bond Girl, if a Bond Girl would go in 2013,’ Halle divulged.
‘So she came up with her idea of what it was, but she’s out of the country. She put it in a suitcase and shipped it here and I got it the day before the Oscars.
Hot metal: The 42-year-old's very little black dress boasted a sparkling silver trim
Acre-long legs: The high hemline of the frock allowed Halle to put her toned and endless pins on display
‘I had some other dress I was going to wear which was beautiful. But I pulled this out and it fit perfectly and I just thought “Wow”.’
Halle told Jay that she felt like she was ‘wearing a Ferrari’ and without missing a beat the host hit back: ‘I enjoy driving a Ferrari. Can you drive a stick shift, I’m curious?’
The 46-year-old also pointed out that fans won’t have seen any photographs from the evening of the Oscars in which she has her hands on her hips, because her arms were ‘stuck down’ due to the constricting nature of the dress.
Thanks for being here: It was clear that Halle and Jay get along great after meeting on several occasions
Firm favourite: Jay told Halle that he and his wife thought she was the best-dressed on the red carpet at the Oscars
Additionally, Halle confirmed during the interview that she will be reprising her role as Storm in the upcoming X Men: Days Of Future Past movie.
‘It’s a great role. And those residual cheques don’t hurt,’ she joked.
‘It’s a character I love and fans really love the whole series. They really love Storm. And it’s like family, you know, it’s fun to get back together with Hugh [Jackman] and everybody.’

Halle Berry attends BET Honors 2013However, it seems to have had a long-lasting effect on Halle as she reveals that filming left her emotionally scarred for life. “I won’t go in a parking garage alone ever again after making this movie,” says the 46-year-old.
“To realise what these people do and how much responsibility they have and how calm they have to be, it’s amazing. They are really the unsung heroes of the city.”
And it seems that the film has reignited the Catwoman star’s girl-power spirit. “We don’t often get great characters like this to play as women, unfortunately. And this is a really good movie for us girls.”

The Oscar winner ( Monster’s Ball) was at the Mandarin Oriental Miami Hotel to talk about the thriller, with her costar Morris Chestnut ( Think Like A Man), who plays a cop and Jordan’s love interest. How did you think the movie came out?
HB: Much of the filming I wasn’t there for. I was in the call center most of the time so I missed what they were doing. I could only imagine, but, wow, I was even scared! It turned out better than I thought. It was shot in just 20 days. It was shot as fast as it plays.
MC: No one ever sets out to do a bad movie. People don’t say, ‘Oh, we’re going to spend $30 million for a bad movie!’ [Laughs]. There are so many elements involved. To have a movie like this come together when everyone does their part well: from the director, to the editors, to the actors. I’m just proud. How did you get involved with this project?
HB: They came to me about two years before filming, but I wasn’t able to do it because I had other obligations. I kept thinking they were going to go with someone else. I didn’t want them to. Luckily for me, they waited. Then they said, ‘What do you think of Morris Chestnut as your love [interest?’ I said, ‘Yes, please!’
MC: Halle was already attached when I got involved. There’s no one else I could see playing the role. What kind of prep work did you have to do?
HB: You get a different perspective by doing research. I think we both did. That’s part of our job... to find the truth in it. You can’t know what it’s like to be a cop even though you’ve seen it in the movies. But nobody ever saw a 911 center. I thought they lived in the ground somewhere! It was interesting to see who they were and how they deal and how stressful it can be. I was a wreck [watching them]. They would just be as cool as can be doing their thing. I thought, ‘I could never do this job.’ So you have a new respect for the profession now, right?
HB: Yes. They are who you call first. They are integral in the process. I take my hat off to them. The way they can stay so detached but are human. And people call for the dumbest thing, like, ‘I can’t get my cable to work!’ Or they call drunk: ‘I’m trying to get to my house, and I’m lost!’ They have to deal with those kind of calls as well as real emergencies. Have you had any personal experiences with phoning 911?
HB: I had a break-in [in 2011] and they let me hear a callback. The thing I remember the woman kept saying is ‘Ma’am, be quiet!’ And what I kept saying is, ‘Thank God my daughter’s not here, thank God my daughter’s not here.’ At one point I had to put my hand over my mouth. I couldn’t stop talking out of my fear. Does your daughter [4-year-old Nahla] know how to dial 911?
HB: I have a CD to play at home that teaches kids what to say and what to do. We do a little drill. This movie woke me up.

She may be one of Hollywood's youngest stars, but she has a taste in fashion that far surpasses her years.
Actress Abigail Breslin looked sublime as she attended the Los Angeles premiere of her new film The Call, on Tuesday at The ArcLight Hollywood.
The 16-year-old showed off her fine taste in an outfit that would not have been out of place in a haute couture fashion show.

Back to black: Abigail Breslin looked chic and cool as she attended the premiere of her new film The Call, on Tuesday in Hollywood
Abigail wore a chic cropped black jacket that partially and tastefully displayed her slender midriff.
The trendy jacket also featured a large black silk bow, slightly ruffled shoulders and a very high neckline.
Abigail teamed the top with a pair of high waist and wide legged black trousers that contrasted well with her long blonde locks.

Class act: Abigail made her big breakthrough in the 2006 film Little Miss Sunshine aged ten
The beautiful actress kept her accessories to a minimum as the only jewellery she wore was a pair of small diamond earrings.
The mature style was a long way from her appearance in her breakthrough role as Olive Hoover in the Oscar winning movie Little Miss Sunshine.
Abigail wasn't the only star in attendance going for an all black look as Halle Berry also opted for a dark number.
Halle, 46, looked sexy in her tight leather skirt with subtle split and low cut black top.
She showed off her flawless skin and svelte figure as she happily posed for photographers with co-star Abigail.
The actress completed her outfit with a gold chain belt and strappy sandals, with a touch of subtle make-up.
The film sees Halle play a veteran 911 operator who receives a call from a girl (Abigail) who has just been abducted and must confront a killer from her past in order to save the girl’s life.
In fact the role brought back an emergency call that Halle had to make last year when someone tried to break into her home.
Leading lady: Abigail was joined by her co-star and Hollywood superstar Halle Berry
Grouped in: Halle and Abigail pose alongside co-stars David Otunga, Michael Eklund and Morris Chestnut
'I did have to call 911 about a year before I made this movie,' she recently told CNN. 'I had someone who was attempting to break into my house and when I called I told the 911 operator: "I think they're in my house."
'And from the time I thought they were in I couldn't stop talking; the operator said to me, "Ma'am, if they're in your house, you must be quiet. Stop talking." And I could not stop.'
The star admitted she learned an important lesson from the event, saying: 'Next time, if I ever have to call, I know the importance of being quiet and listening to someone.'

Everyone knows it can be such a struggle getting ready for school in the mornings.
But four-year-old Nahla had her father Gabriel Aubry to help her out as he gave her a lift on their walk to school on Friday morning.
The hunky French-Canadian model had no trouble carrying his little girl through the streets of Beverly Hills, holding her in one arm and juggling her bright pink lunch bag.
Daddy day care: Gabriel Aubry and his daughter enjoy a brisk walk to school in Beverly Hills on Friday
The pair battled the wintry weather by bundling up on the layers, Gabriel throwing a knitted cap on that matched his layered grey T-shirts.
Little Nahla, with whom he shares custody with his ex Halle Berry, wore a warm coat and had her curly hair tied back in a ponytail as she clung tightly to her father.
The four-year-old appeared to be in a chatty mood, as he made gestures and she played with his furry blonde beard.
Drop off: Gabriel left the school, and later Halle was there to pick her up
Halle and her ex have been engaged in a bitter custody battle with the Monster's Ball star and her new boyfriend Olivier Martinez wanted to permanently move to Paris with Nahla.
Gabriel was reportedly distraught when the actress tried to take his daughter to live in France and the pair eventually reached a custody agreement which means Nahla stays in the US.
Halle, who pays Aubry $20,000 a month in child support, struck a deal with the model last year.
Clinging tight: Nahla played with her dad's beard as they walked along
Something to share: The pair were chatty, with Gabriel making gestures
The model and Halle's new French Beau have been embroiled in a feud after the pair were famously battered in a fist fight on Thanksgiving Day.
Aubry, who was pictured with a black eye and other facial injuries, was initially charged in the incident, but was later cleared with the French-Canadian ordered to stay out of trouble for the next year.
The 46-year-old Oscar winner and Olivier both reportedly felt it would not be in Nahla's best interest to prosecute her father for the fight.
Taking turns: Halle was on time to grab her daughter from school Friday afternoon
