See the 10 Best Oscar Dresses of All Time

The Oscars are the pinnacle of all award season fashion and consistently bring us the crème de la crème of red-carpet gowns. From Gwyneth Paltrow's pink, princess-perfect Ralph Lauren gown to Reese Witherspoon's elegant vintage Christian Dior, we're counting down the 10 best Oscar dresses of all time.

Transcript Hi it's Alisson McNamara, and in today's addition of Fab Flash, we're bringing you top 10 favorite Oscar gowns of all time. First we have Gwyneth Paltrow in 1999, in a Ralph Lauren gown that's fit for a princess. She looks so pretty in pink and she accessorized with a diamond choker and black hair. This might be in my all-time favorite. Michelle Williams look so gorgeous in 2006 in a yellow Vera Wang . I love the the delicate pleading and she glammed it up with a bold red lift. In 2009, Anne Hathaway dazzled in Armani Prive. The mermaid-style silhouette really showed off her great figure. Julia Roberts shows Vintage Valentino in 2001. Black and white is so classic on the red carpet, and the white piping down the front and back is divine. Hillary Swank went for Calvin Klein in 2004, proving that solids can really pop on the red carpet. And the best part about this dress? The low sexy back. Halle Berry turned heads in this sheer brown Elie Saab number in 2002. The barely there effect at the top is balanced out by the burgundy bottom. In 2010 Sandra Bullock succumbed Best Actress and our vote for best-dressed, in a champagne-colored Marquesa gown. The detailing on the top is sheer perfection. Nicole Kidman chose a Christian Dior dress in 1997. This is a really hard color to wear, but she totally pulls it off. And the floral embroidery is really sweet. We love the feel of this Armani Prive that Cate Blanchett wore in 2007. It's got cool embellishing on the shoulder and a pretty pattern on the bottom. Finally, in 2006, we have Reese Witherspoon in a vintage in a beaded vintage Christian Dior from 1995. This look as a whole is so elegant and stunning. So now that you've seen in our all-time favorite Oscar gowns, let us know which ones you like best. We can't wait to see what everyone will wear this year to the Academy Awards. And make sure to come back here for all our coverage. I'm Allison McNamara and I'll see you next time on Fab Flash on Fab Sugar TV.

Halle Berry's beau Olivier Martinez has been spending so much time in Los Angeles with the Oscar winner that he hasn't visited Miami for months. But that will change early next month, when the French actor opens a restaurant on South Beach.

"I love the interesting and international people I have met in Miami," Martinez tells PEOPLE. "So when my friend Michael Martin said he found a space for a restaurant and lounge where we could bring in the best aspects from the South of France, I was excited and wanted to get involved."

Together with restaurateur Jean-Phillippe Bernard, the partners are opening Villa Azur, featuring the seasonal ingredients and international flavors of Saint-Tropez, where Martinez and Martin have spent many late nights enjoying fine food and wine.

"Olivier and I love Miami and want to bring the glamour and allure of the South of France to this melting pot of a town," Martin says.

The menu will be French and Italian-inspired and feature entrees such as penne pasta with vodka and caviar cream sauce, or a veal filet mignon stuffed with artichokes, tomatoes and cheese.

The bar and lounge boasts a library with art and design books, as well as couches for guests to sip champagne and share plates of oysters with caviar and Olivier's special olive bread, which he enjoys in France.

Designed by Francois Frossard, the restaurant will be outfitted in antique woods and chandeliers with both contemporary and old pine furniture.

La Cave d'Azur, the intimate private dining room and wine cellar, will seas 12 VIPs and offer nearly 200 choices of hand picked wines.

Says Martin: "Olivier knows that we are doing something special together where people can get a touch of Saint-Tropez glamour in South Beach."

Exclusive - Halle Berry's 'Dark' Romance

Exclusive - Halle Berry's 'Dark' Romance

Exclusive - Halle Berry's 'Dark' Romance
Halle Berry fell in love on the set of Dark Tide and in this ETonline exclusive photo, you can check out the smoldering chemistry she shares with fiance Olivier Martinez.
In the film, Halle plays "a shark whisperer" who is haunted by the memory of friend's death that resulted from a dive gone wrong. Now, to save her business from going under, she agrees to her ex-boyfriend's (played by Martinez) risky proposition: a cage-free shark dive!
Dark Tide, which hits Video-on-Demand on March 8 and theaters on March 30, is a thrilling drama that will remind everyone why Halle Berry is one of Hollywood's biggest stars!
Watch the trailer!

ALTRichard Dreyfuss. Dennis Quaid. Samuel L. Jackson. Michael Caine. All great actors, all thespians who took the plunge in shark attack movies. And now, Halle Berry is ready to take a…swim on the wild side.
In Dark Tide, Berry plays Kate, a marine expert (and "shark whisperer") down in the dumps after her partner was killed in a freak shark attack. But now Kate's back in the game, taking an offer she couldn't refuse (after all, a shark whisperer has to pay her bills too) that leads her back to the infamous "Shark Alley." As you can imagine, her time leading a group into treacherous waters doesn't go all that smoothly.
The killer shark film has evolved into a genre all its own, with A-list actors unafraid to dive headfirst into the dangerous waters. Knowing not every role can land you a place on the Oscar "Best of" list, Berry and plenty of actors from the past tackle the animal horror riff, adding a little gravitas to the formula while wallowing in the over-the-top scenario out of enjoyment. If this movie wasn't absolutely nuts, it wouldn't be doing its job.
We have an exclusive first look of Berry in action, along with co-star Olivier Martinez, who's manning the camera, capturing the shark in all its killer glory. Assume this is snapshot's from early in the film, before the shark really starts making its move.
Dark Tide hits VOD on March 8, with a big screen release on March 30.

Engaged or not, one thing's for sure: Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez were enjoying their dinner (and drinks) during a night out at West Hollywood's SLS Hotel.

Joined by a male friend, the couple was tucked away in a corner booth for their 8:30 p.m. dinner at José Andrés's molecular gastronomy hotspot, The Bazaar.

A fellow diner didn't spot Berry's mystery green ring – the actress kept her hands mostly under the table – but noted that she and Martinez kept their PDA to a minimum, adding that they were "acting cute but not overly couple-y."

Berry, meanwhile, was sipping a "Jalé Berry" cocktail ($16) – made with fresh blackberries, gin, Cointreau and a slice of jalapeño, and named after the actress. The group enjoyed the tapas-style menu, and Berry was seated in between the guys. The dressed-down trio were smiling and laughing a lot, the diner adds, and flying under the radar. – Mussarat Bata

While he waits to hear whether his ex-Halle Berry will be allowed to move to France with their daughter, Gabriel Aubrey has been spending some quality time with his little princess.

The Canadian model is embroiled in a tough custody battle with the actress while Nahla, three, seemed completely oblivious to any problems surrounding her parents.

The only thing the adorable youngster seemed concerned with was how to keep her sunglasses from falling off her face as she enjoyed a leisurely stroll with her father yesterday.

Berry’s girl was given the royal treatment as she took to her dad’s shoulders to rest her tiny legs.

Nahla looked stylish in a pink t-shirt, white tights and black skirt but at one point her position proved a bit too awkward as her curly locks battled against the windy weather.

Aubrey tried to conceal any feelings of worry with a pair of dark sunglasses and a baseball cap.

Berry, 45, recently won her legal fight to stop him having unsupervised visits with their daughter, but is unclear whether the decision will aid her in her efforts to move to her new fiancé Olivier Martinez' home country.

Last week Halle filed paperwork requesting that she be allowed to move to Europe with her daughter amid claims she fears for her life in the US after receiving threats from mental patient Robert Hoskins.

An insider said of the man who was locked up for stalking Madonna: 'Friends are scared for her life because Robert Hoskins wants to kill her. She is terrified for her safety.

A limping Halle Berry got a helping hand from her fiance Olivier Martinez in West Hollywood today.

The actress, 45, is still sporting a brace boot after breaking her foot while filming Spain back in September of last year.

The Catwoman star kept a low profile wearing a gray cap and sunglasses as she lunched at an Italian restaurant.

She slipped her unharmed foot in a stylish loafer.

Her 46-year-old French actor beau looked handsome in a pair of denim jeans, a black T-shirt and a leather bomber jacket.

Last week Halle filed paperwork requesting that she be allowed to move to France with her daughter amid claims she fears for her life in the US after receiving threats from mental patient Robert Hoskins, who was locked up for stalking Madonna.

An insider said: 'Friends are scared for her life because Robert Hoskins wants to kill her. She is terrified for her safety.

'The LAPD told Halle that Hoskins threatened: "I’m going to kill that b****, I’m going to cut her throat."'

After serving a ten year prison sentence, Hoskins was released last year where he was then sent to a psychiatric hospital near Los Angeles.

He had managed to escape a few weeks ago, but is now back behind bars.

Another man who pleaded guilty to stalking Berry was also recently released from jail.

But a move to France may not be possible for the Oscar winning actress as she is embroiled in a court battle with her ex, Canadian model Gabriel Aubry, over custody of their daughter Nahla, three.

Berry recently won her legal fight to stop Aubry having unsupervised visits with their daughter, but is unclear whether the decision will aid her in her efforts to move to her new fiancé Olivier Martinez' home country.

According to RadarOnline, a judge has ruled the Canadian model’s visitation with three-year-old Nahla must be supervised.

In addition, her 36-year-old former boyfriend will not be allowed any overnight stays.

The development follows Nahla's nanny, who is employed by Halle, alleging she was physically attacked her while she was holding Nahla.

Acrimonious: Berry and Aubry's split has been marked by arguments over custody of their daughter Nahla, three.

And while Gabriel vehemently denies the accusation, an investigation is being carried out.

Both parties were at the family court last for the private and confidential hearing.

Representatives from the L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services were also sitting in.
