'It was tough': Halle Berry admits the hours filming TV show Extant were 'brutal' while breastfeeding baby son Maceo

Halle Berry admitted that it was 'tough' making the transition from film star to her weekly sci-fi television show Extant, which requires a lot more hours, while caring for baby son Maceo at the same time.
The 48-year-old discussed the move in an article in Deadline on Wednesday ahead of her return to the annual San Diego Comic-Con gathering.
'It was tough last year. I sort of got my sea legs, as they say. I was nursing my two-month old baby when I started,' Halle said of her first season on the CBS show.

The show featuring Halle as astronaut Molly Woods was renewed in October for a second season that premiered on July 1.
Halle and Jeffrey Dean Morgan, 49, who joined the cast for season two will headline an Extant panel on Thursday at Comic-Con. They will be joined by executive producer Craig Shapiro and creator/executive producer Mickey Fisher.

Halle will return on Saturday for Fox's film panel in which footage from the home version X-Men Days Of Future Past - The Rogue Cut will be screened.
The actress has portrayed the mutant superhero Storm in four of the live-action X-Men movies.
Halle said that she has enjoyed her past visits to Comic-Con.
'Comic Con is a place I actually love going. I’m kind of disappointed when the years go by that I don’t have a reason to go. It’s all about fans and it’s the one opportunity that I have found where I can just connect to, relate with, talk to my fans, people that are diehard,' Halle said.
