Halle Berry shares steamy shower scene with co-star Goran Visnjic in extended trailer for sci-fi series Extant

Fans anxiously awaiting to see more of Halle Berry in Extant should be sated for the time being at least.
CBS has just released an extended trailer for the sci-fi series ahead of its July 9 premiere that delivers one whole minute of Halle in peril and pregnant after 13 months in space alone - or was she?
It also shows Halle's character having a steamy moment in the shower with her co-star Goran Visnjic who plays her scientist husband John Woods who caresses her face as the water streams over them.

Halle plays an astronaut named Molly Woods struggling to reconnect with her scientist husband John (Goran Visnjic) after spending a year in space in a solo mission.
The trailer starts off with Molly's best friend and confidante Sam (Camryn Manheim) confronting her about her very unexplained condition.
'You were on the station for 13 months. Are you sure there was no one else on board?' Sam asks before adding: 'Molly, you're pregnant.'
'What?' Molly asks incredulously.
This is news, as Molly is infertile and with her husband 'built' a son Ethan, who is the first prototype of a future line of human-like robots known as Humanichs.

'I'm scared, I saw something in space. It was real,' Molly confesses in voiceover as the scene cuts to her aboard a desolate spacecraft, starring wide-eyed out a window.
'Astronaut Molly Woods went on a solo mission... she did not return alone,'
Back home, Molly's son Ethan notices she's not the person she used to be. 'Mom's different now,' he tells his dad.
Not normal: Molly returns to Earth and her husband John (Visnjic) and their human-like robot son Ethan (Pierce Gagnon) but things aren't exactly normal

Ethan shows Molly a drawing that only serves to increase her anxiety.
'I put the family in the space ship so they'd be safe... from extinction,' he tells her.
It's her against the government agency who wants to silence her.

'We'll find out what she knows soon enough,' one agent tells another.
She's cautioned by friend Harmon Kryger (Brad Beyer) to not trust anyone, 'They'll bug your phone, they'll follow you and if you tell anybody they won't believe you.'
'You don't have to go through this yourself,' her husband tells her.
Other telling scenes shows Molly caressing her pregnant belly in front of a mirror and undergoing an untrasound, the heartbeat of what grows inside her loud and clear.

Steven Spielberg is an executive producer on the show.
'As a woman, when I read this, it was such a strong character,' Halle told People.
'I always gravitate toward strong, complicated woman characters. When I heard Steven Spielberg is a part of it, I thought, wow, that is another big reason to be a part of it.'

Halle Berry goes from slacker to slick business woman on set of new astronaut series

What a difference some heels make! Halle Berry goes from slacker to slick business woman on set of new astronaut series

She transforms into an Astronaut for her new TV drama Extant.
And Halle Berry showed us she can also master a transformation off-screen when she changed from tom-boy casual to smart and chic on Wednesday.
The 47-year-old looked dressed down as she was spotted arriving on-set in Los Angeles in a white t-shirt and cropped cargo trousers.

Casual to chic: Halle Berry was seen in two very different looks on the set of her TV series Extant

Laden with heavy bags and wearing a newsboy style cap, the star hid her makeup-free face.
Her baggy white t-shirt, which curiously had a black and white rabbit on the front, completely drowned her curves.
However, a short while later, she arrived at her trailer on-set in a completely different look and ready for action.
In smart navy trousers, a lilac cowel neck top and a grey blazer, the Monster's Ball actress looked like she meant business.

She completed the look with black wedge pumps which added a couple of inches to her small frame.
Berry plays Molly Watts in the sci-fi drama. A woman struggling to reconnect with her scientist husband John (Goran Visnjic) after spending a year in space in a solo mission.
Molly is infertile so John finds a way for them to have a child by building a son Ethan - the first prototype of a future line of human-like robots known as Humanichs.
Extant - premiering July 9 on CBS -will follow Halle's character as she struggles to re-adapt to family life as a wife and mother.

X-citing times: Michael Fassbender is joined by Hugh Jackman and James McAvoy as they perform Blurred Lines dance routine

X-citing times: Michael Fassbender is joined by Hugh Jackman and James McAvoy as they perform Blurred Lines dance routine

When it comes to looking suave and sophisticated, Michael Fassbender, 37, Hugh Jackman, 45 and James McAvoy, 35, are some of Hollywood's coolest characters.
But they showed a slightly more playful side during an appearance on BBC's Graham Norton Show on Friday.
The men, who were on the programme to promote their new movie X-Men: Days Of Future Past had the audience in hysterics when they showed off their moves and grooves.

Hugh Jackman told Graham Norton that Robin Thicke's mega-hit was the only song that could lure fellow actor, Michael Fassbender on set.

He said: 'Michael is one of those actors you have to coax out of the trailer. He'll wait in there for hours and hours.
'To get him out, there was only really one song. We used to get the sound guy to play it very loud in the studio just so he could get his mojo up. It was Blurred Lines.' xxxxxxxxTime to talk: The Hollywood actors were on the show to talk about their new movie- X-Men: Days Of Future Past

The trio, who were all looking smart in black suits, then jumped up and danced in unison, clicking their fingers from side to side before returning back to the famous red sofa.
While on the show, Hugh Jackman also let slip on the show that he had a very intimate injury while on set of the iconic new movie.
The star admitted that he was wearing the Wolverine blades and not much else when he tried to hide himself from female workers on set, leaving himself with a wound to the top of his thigh.

He said: 'There was a very intense first scene and I insisted on a closed set. I ran round the corner and all the female members of the crew were gathered there.
'I tried to cover myself and cut my inner thigh - it was just the inner thigh thankfully. The metal claws had to go - you can't have bits and pieces flying off.'
In the latest iconic movie sequel, the X-Men send Wolverine to the past in a desperate effort to change history and stop an event that results in disaster for both humans and mutants.
