Court orders Halle Berry to pay ex Gabriel Aubry $20,000 a month in child support to raise Nahla

Halle Berry has been ordered to pay $20,000 a month in child support.
Lawyers for the 'New Year's Eve' star and her former partner Gabriel Aubry went to court on Monday where a family law judge ordered the actress to hand over the sum for the care of their four-year-old daughter Nahla, gossip website TMZ reports.

Gabriel, 36, had gone to court last month to request the sum but the case was adjourned because paperwork wasn't filled out properly.
The former couple - who split in April 2010 - are yet to resolve another dispute over Nahla, as the model is unhappy with Halle's plan to move to France with the youngster and her fiance Olivier Martinez.
The 45-year-old 'Dark Tide' star has previously spoken about relocating to France, in favour of the country's laws which will protect her offspring from prying eyes.

She said: "Laws that protect children, protect right to privacy. All I want is for my family and myself to have a normal life. When I'm not at work, that's very important to me."
A court has yet to rule on Halle's desire to move.

Last week Halle was seen collecting daughter, Nahla, from school in Los Angeles.
Her actress carried a colourful collage called 'All About Nahla', on which the four-year-old wrote about how she wants a baby sister, a bunk bed and to be a ballerina.
The watercolour collage poignantly featured a photo of Nahla's father, Gabriel, pictured with Halle and their little girl before the couple's split.

The studio also will distribute the movie starring Tom Hanks and Halle Berry in the U.K., France, Spain, Australia and Japan.

Warner Bros. Pictures has set Oct. 26 as the release date for Cloud Atlas, the star-studded adaptation of David Mitchell’s novel directed by the team of Lana Wachowski, Tom Tykwer and Andy Wachowski.

The studio’s distribution chiefs -- Dan Fellman, president of domestic distribution, and Veronika Kwan Vandenberg, president of international distribution -- also said Tuesday that the studio has acquired rights to distribute the film the U.K., France, Spain, Australia, and Japan, where it will be released in early 2013.

The movie, which stars Tom Hanks, Halle Berry, Susan Sarandon, Keith David, Jim Broadbent, Hugo Weaving, Jim Sturgess, Doona Bae, Ben Whishaw, James D’Arcy and Zhou Xun, got a positive reception when it was shown to foreign buyers at the recent Cannes Film Festival, and its late-October date will put it squarely in the awards-season corridor.

“Audiences who have seen an early screening of Cloud Atlas have been elated by its powerful and inspiring story, as well as its breathtaking visuals,” Fellman said. "An October release in North America is the perfect window to showcase this epic film."

Adds Kwan Vandenberg: “We are proud to be distributing this remarkable motion picture in a number of key markets. We look forward to working with these visionary filmmakers and the other international distribution partners to bring Cloud Atlas to moviegoers around the world."

Tykwer and the Wachowskis also wrote the screenplay for the film and produced along with Grant Hill and Stefan Arndt. Philip Lee, Uwe Schott and Wilson Qiu served as executive producers.
