Birthday girl Halle Berry edged closer to the big 5-0 on Thursday.
But judging by her cheery disposition on the eve of her 48th birthday, age is just a number for the genetically blessed actress.
The mother-of-two, who gave birth ten months ago, was spotted out with husband Olivier Martinez and friends for a double date on Wednesday.

The X-Men actress showed off her toned arms in a loose vest and had a broad grin on her face as she left a West Hollywood eatery after lunch.
It appeared to be a super casual meeting as Halle paired her top with some grey capris and flip-flops. She covered her pixie crop with a cream cap and donned aviator sunglasses.
Her biggest accessory, however, was her beaming white smile as she chatted and laughed with her pals - at one point affectionately reaching for her husband's wrist.
Olivier meanwhile teamed an olive green T-shirt with jeans and some scuffed boots and gave off a rather 70s vibe with a pair of retro sunglasses and thin moustache.

Los-Angeles based Halle currently stars in Extant on CBS, a 13-episode thriller where she plays Molly Woods, an astronaut who returns to earth having been impregnated by something in outer space.
The mother-of-two recently spoke about her decision to take a starring role in a science fiction series as she graced the cover of Entertainment Weekly.
Explaining how she was drawn to the character, she said: ''The minute I started to read it, I couldn't put it down.
'I thought, 'Wow. This is different.' It's innovative. Molly is a strong female character, which I really love to play. Molly is a complicated woman with a complicated family,' she added.

Halle said the show had the quality she needed to make the commitment.
'I was being offered parts that I felt like I had done before. They weren’t exciting enough for me to leave my family for four months. I realized some of the best writing especially for women, was on television,' she said.
Halle has an ten-month-old son Maceo with Olivier and a six-year-old daughter Nahla from her previous relationship with Gabriel Aubry.
