See the 10 Best Oscar Dresses of All Time

The Oscars are the pinnacle of all award season fashion and consistently bring us the crème de la crème of red-carpet gowns. From Gwyneth Paltrow's pink, princess-perfect Ralph Lauren gown to Reese Witherspoon's elegant vintage Christian Dior, we're counting down the 10 best Oscar dresses of all time.

Transcript Hi it's Alisson McNamara, and in today's addition of Fab Flash, we're bringing you top 10 favorite Oscar gowns of all time. First we have Gwyneth Paltrow in 1999, in a Ralph Lauren gown that's fit for a princess. She looks so pretty in pink and she accessorized with a diamond choker and black hair. This might be in my all-time favorite. Michelle Williams look so gorgeous in 2006 in a yellow Vera Wang . I love the the delicate pleading and she glammed it up with a bold red lift. In 2009, Anne Hathaway dazzled in Armani Prive. The mermaid-style silhouette really showed off her great figure. Julia Roberts shows Vintage Valentino in 2001. Black and white is so classic on the red carpet, and the white piping down the front and back is divine. Hillary Swank went for Calvin Klein in 2004, proving that solids can really pop on the red carpet. And the best part about this dress? The low sexy back. Halle Berry turned heads in this sheer brown Elie Saab number in 2002. The barely there effect at the top is balanced out by the burgundy bottom. In 2010 Sandra Bullock succumbed Best Actress and our vote for best-dressed, in a champagne-colored Marquesa gown. The detailing on the top is sheer perfection. Nicole Kidman chose a Christian Dior dress in 1997. This is a really hard color to wear, but she totally pulls it off. And the floral embroidery is really sweet. We love the feel of this Armani Prive that Cate Blanchett wore in 2007. It's got cool embellishing on the shoulder and a pretty pattern on the bottom. Finally, in 2006, we have Reese Witherspoon in a vintage in a beaded vintage Christian Dior from 1995. This look as a whole is so elegant and stunning. So now that you've seen in our all-time favorite Oscar gowns, let us know which ones you like best. We can't wait to see what everyone will wear this year to the Academy Awards. And make sure to come back here for all our coverage. I'm Allison McNamara and I'll see you next time on Fab Flash on Fab Sugar TV.

  1. Halle rightly so pulled out of the Oscars.I am happy because that foot is not healed yet and until she and her baby daddy find out away to settle this custody battle;this will only give her detractors more fuel to hate her.No need to give Hollywood a reason not to hire you.Another thing too;I was getting pissed off watching Halle turn into just an Academy Award Presenter. She is a fucking Academy Award WINNER FFS so she should act like it and let the Presenter job go to the likes of Jennifer Lopez who will NEVER win any serious award for acting but for the past decade has attended every goddamn Oscars!

Halle is better than that.Time for her to focus on that custody battle and pay that MF money if that will keep his ass away and quiet so that she can focus on her career. Her fans are getting frustrated;impatient and quite honestly pissed off! We want Introducing Dorothy Drandridge;Losing Isiah and Monster's Ball Halle Berry back not Catwoman;Dark Tide or any other crap movies.

FIRE the agent;manager;agency but do something;anything
