Halle Berry shows off her design skills - and perfect pins - in behind-the-scenes glimpse of shoot for new shoe collection

Halle Berry shows off her design skills - and perfect pins - in behind-the-scenes glimpse of shoot for new shoe collection

She's been busy filming throughout the summer, but it appears Halle Berry still found the time to create a shoe collection.
And as she stepped out to model her fall range in collaboration with German footwear company Deichmann, her enviably toned pins were also on show.
Wearing a number of different outfits, including a thigh-skimming mini-skirt and tight leather trousers, to compliment her heel and wedged designs the 45-year-old X Men star looked happy and relaxed as she posed in front of the cameras.

It is the second time Halle has launched a line under the '5ths Avenue by Halle Berry' label for the European retailer.
The film star's spring/summer range included 40 limited edition shoes featuring peep toes with wedge heels, high-heeled sandals with straps and high-heeled sling sandals on wedge heels.
She recently revealed that on the first fashion shoot which took place earlier this year, she was nursing a broken leg, after she fell and injured herself in a film set in Spain just weeks before it was scheduled.

The Oscar-winner said: 'I broke my foot in Spain right before the last shoot. And actually I did the ad shoot with a broken foot.
'When I got back home my foot was still as broken as it was the day I broke it. I went into a hard cast and now I'm 100 per cent.'
Berry created the 5th Avenue collection with the footwear firm's designers and hopes that her latest line will be a hit with friends back in LA.
She says, 'I gave some of the shoes to some of my friends back in LA and one of the greatest compliments that came back was how comfortable the shoes really are. I think that's for women today and how much we are on our feet and how much we walk.

'Having a shoe that's comfortable as well as stylish is just as important as being affordable quite honestly.'
And Berry admits she's also a big fan of the shoe line: 'I wear what's comfortable. I wear sort of seasonal shoes, like the collection now is for fall and winter. So I always try to stay within the season in the country that I'm in. But I go for fashionable comfort.'
Deichmann owner Heinrich Deichmann added: 'We are very pleased that Halle Berry is our new partner. She is an internationally renowned artist and a global style icon.'
The company, which is Europe's largest shoe retailer with more that 50 UK stores, has previously signed up Cindy Crawford, the Pussycat Dolls and the Sugababes to promote its shoes.
