In the early days of a relationship, taking an interest in your new boyfriend's passions is typical behaviour.
And with her new romance flourishing, Halle Berry has embraced Olivier Martinez's fondness for his motorbike.
Perhaps her willingness to swap chauffeur driven limos for riding pillion has something to do with the added bonus of hiding away from the paparazzi.

Berry used her motorbike helmet to full effect as she left a lunch date with Martinez yesterday, putting it on to leave the café and even pulling down the visor to hide away.
Smiling broadly beneath her impromptu disguise, she climbed on behind Martinez and the two sped off.
This week saw Berry honoured at the NAACP Awards in Los Angeles.

On the red carpet she said she hoped her example would prove an inspiration to daughter Nahla, with whose father Gabriel Aubry she is currently engaged in a custody battle.

'I want Nahla to be proud of me,' she told reporters.
'I know she will not like everything I’ve done but I hope she will appreciate that I have always strived to be myself and I have always opted for the things I believed in.

'My hope is that I have been able to instil these values to her too.'
Halle, 44, said her most important job was her role as a mother.
'It’s just joy, happiness. I would never say that this is the hardest work I’ve done, I think is the best work I do.'

  1. It should be noted that wearing Jeans and a sweatshirt and no gloves is not safe for riding a motorcycle.
Even a low speed crash can cause serious (and even deadly) deadly abrasions when wearing the wrong outfit.

Since we all don't want Halle to get hurt, we should make sure she knows that this is far more dangerous than it looks.
