About Silver Rose Weekend
We have told the story many times. More than thirty years ago, five brave women had a dream - to be able to provide a safe haven for families ravished by domestic violence. Their humble beginnings of offering food and a place to stay for women with nowhere to turn, has now blossomed into Jenesse Center, an organization that builds awareness and engages change on a local and global scale.
Each year as we plan The Silver Rose Weekend, we focus on a theme that best clarifies our work toward a perfect world. This year's Theme is HOPE. We know that there is hope for a perfect world. This is because of wonderful friends and supporters -- people like you who make life- saving services possible.
The Silver Rose Weekend is our annual forum where Jenesse board members, staff, community leaders and our Chairperson, Halle Berry, come together to honor those who make a difference. We count on and celebrate people like you, whose commitment to our cause of ending domestic violence has transformed the lives of countless numbers of men, women and children.
