The Jenesse Center, Inc. is the oldest domestic violence intervention program in South Los Angeles. Their mission is to focus on providing support to victims of domestic violence during the immediate crisis times and assistance with changing patterns in their lives to break the cycle. To Jenesse, domestic violence is a family issue and their services focus on women and children.
This year's Silver Rose host was Jamie Foxx with entertainment by Robin Thicke. The 2011 Honorees were Bryson Rouzan-Thomas (Youth Trailblazer of Hope) and Halle Berry, Patrick Delanty, Lindsay Jackson, and David Brian Sanders ("What a Little Love Can Do" Project).
