Not only has she landed herself a sexy and loving boyfriend, but it appears that Halle Berry has also done rather well regarding her in-laws.

The actress , who turns 45 today, was snapped out for lunch with her daughter Nahla, hunky French beau Olivier Martinez and his father in Los Angeles yesterday.

And while she may not be his own flesh and blood, Martinez Snr doted on three-year-old Nahla and cuddled her close as the family left the restaurant.

Nahla clutched at her step-grandfather as they left the Mirabelle restaurant in West Hollywood yesterday and made their way to Halle's car.

Halle looked stunning in a red and white striped maxi dress as she walked with Martinez Snr and Nahla down the steps as the valet pulled up with their car, with Olivier, 45, followed behind.

Before they climbed inside to head home, he stooped down to say goodbye before giving Halle a kiss on the cheek.

Halle and Olivier have been dating for almost a year and no doubt will be doing something ultra special for her birthday today.

The couple will also be celebrating after the news that a judge has extended the restraining order in place against Halle's stalker Richard Franco .

The news emerged this week that Franco will be unable to go within 100 yards of Berry and her daughter for the next three years.

Los Angeles Superior Judge Carol Goodson's order extends a temporary directive she issued on July 12 - just 24 hours after police arrested the 27-year-old. It will remain in place until August 1, 2014.

Franco, from Commerce, California, is accused of felony stalking and burglary after allegedly entering Berry's Hollywood Hills property three times over a three-day period last month.

Thankfully for Halle, she doesn't have to avoid all of her fans and one lucky one even got close enough to beg her for work experience.

Last week, the actress was approached by theatre student Ella Kweku who handed the Oscar-winning star her CV.

She then posed for a picture with the obliging star who clutched her resume as she headed home.
