X-citing times: Michael Fassbender is joined by Hugh Jackman and James McAvoy as they perform Blurred Lines dance routine

X-citing times: Michael Fassbender is joined by Hugh Jackman and James McAvoy as they perform Blurred Lines dance routine

When it comes to looking suave and sophisticated, Michael Fassbender, 37, Hugh Jackman, 45 and James McAvoy, 35, are some of Hollywood's coolest characters.
But they showed a slightly more playful side during an appearance on BBC's Graham Norton Show on Friday.
The men, who were on the programme to promote their new movie X-Men: Days Of Future Past had the audience in hysterics when they showed off their moves and grooves.

Hugh Jackman told Graham Norton that Robin Thicke's mega-hit was the only song that could lure fellow actor, Michael Fassbender on set.

He said: 'Michael is one of those actors you have to coax out of the trailer. He'll wait in there for hours and hours.
'To get him out, there was only really one song. We used to get the sound guy to play it very loud in the studio just so he could get his mojo up. It was Blurred Lines.' xxxxxxxxTime to talk: The Hollywood actors were on the show to talk about their new movie- X-Men: Days Of Future Past

The trio, who were all looking smart in black suits, then jumped up and danced in unison, clicking their fingers from side to side before returning back to the famous red sofa.
While on the show, Hugh Jackman also let slip on the show that he had a very intimate injury while on set of the iconic new movie.
The star admitted that he was wearing the Wolverine blades and not much else when he tried to hide himself from female workers on set, leaving himself with a wound to the top of his thigh.

He said: 'There was a very intense first scene and I insisted on a closed set. I ran round the corner and all the female members of the crew were gathered there.
'I tried to cover myself and cut my inner thigh - it was just the inner thigh thankfully. The metal claws had to go - you can't have bits and pieces flying off.'
In the latest iconic movie sequel, the X-Men send Wolverine to the past in a desperate effort to change history and stop an event that results in disaster for both humans and mutants.

Jennifer Lawrence shows off her impressive moves in new X-Men: Days Of Future Past clip

Kicking butt! Jennifer Lawrence shows off her impressive moves in new X-Men: Days Of Future Past clip

She's become known for her butt-kicking action movie roles.
And Jennifer Lawrence is back with a vengeance in the new X-Men sequel Days Of Future Past.
The 23-year-old star reprises her role as the mutant Mystique in the upcoming movie, with a newly-released clip of the film showing her in action.

The clip starts with Peter Dinklage's character Bolivar Trask entering a conference room to discuss his company Trask Industries' newly-created weapon.
Discussing the weapon, Trask tells his gathered guests: 'Good afternoon everyone, thank you for coming. With this weapon, there will be no human collateral damage.
'If I turn it on, the system couldn't even activate in here...'

However, as he turns the weapon on, it begins to beep, alerting him to the fact that there is a mutant in the room.
Waving the weapon slowly around the room, Trask soon discovers that the signal is coming from the 'man' sitting at the end of the table.
As security approaches to take the culprit into custody, Trask asks: 'What are you?' before the man answers the question by transforming back into Mystique.

Without answering the question, Mystique then proceeds to demonstrate her identity with a series of impressive kung fu style moves.
While the majority of the moves were no doubt completed by Jennifer's stunt double, the actress still had to train rigorously before reprising her role for the sequel.
Speaking about the story for the upcoming movie, Jennifer said recently: 'She's kind of her own agent. She has one mission of trying to assassinate somebody and it will be her first kill, basically.
'Because we've seen her in the future, and what she becomes, this is kind of a turning point for her.'

First trailer: Halle Berry as astronaut in CBS summer thriller 'Extant' -- EW EXCLUSIVE

    extant.jpg
Check out Berry in zero-g, all Gravity-style (minus Sandra Bullock’s booty shorts) in this first trailer for Extant. The series premieres Wednesday, July 9.

With their upcoming sci-fi drama Extant, CBS has been holding plot details pretty close to the vest. But we now have our first trailer for the summer series. The thirty second spot is more of a teaser than it is a full trailer, but it does offer us some footage from the drama, including a few glimpses of Halle Berry in space.

The 13-episode drama is described as a mystery thriller which focuses on Halle Berry's character Molly Watts, an astronaut who's trying to reconnect with her family after she gets back from spending a year in outer space. "Her mystifying experiences in space lead to events that will ultimately change the course of human history." As the trailer -- via EW -- implies, part of the drama involves Berry finding out she's pregnant, and her son possibly warning her that human extinction may be in the cards in the near future. Or he's just drawing pictures.

CBS released a teaser for Extant focusing on life and how it "always finds a way." Does that life tie into what Berry's character Molly is carrying in her womb? Or is it the human life that her son is trying to protect in his space ship drawing? We can only guess.

    Life

In the meantime, there may be more to that child than meets the eye. He looks like a regular adorable kid, but previous casting updates hint that Molly and her husband John's son Ethan is some kind of "robot prototype." So far though, nothing from the information CBS has officially released gives us anything to go on there, but the trailer does imply that there's something special about the boy.

Extant stars Halle Berry, Goran Visnjic, Pierce Gagnon, Kiroyuji Sanada, Michael O'Neill, Camryn Manheim and Grace Gummer. The series, which premieres July 9 on CBS and will also be made available on Amazon Prime this Summer.
