Catwoman returns! Halle Berry brings her old role back to life in stunning black leather dress at the ESPY Awards

She caused a stir in leather when she starred as Catwoman.
And Halle Berry was clearly channelling her signature role when she wore a racy black leather dress to the ESPY Awards in Los Angeles on Wednesday.
The saucy 48-year-old looked like the cat that got the cream as she flashed her fantastic legs thanks to her daringly high-cut hemline.

The Oscar-winning actress' unusual leather and lace number was tight in all the right places.
And she completed her winning look with a pair of towering laced stiletto heels, which highlighted her terrifically toned calves and thighs.

But she was not just there to turn heads on the red carpet, as she later presented the Pat Tillman Award For Service to former Notre Dame women's basketball player turned soldier Danielle Green, who lost her lower left arm and hand in a grenade attack in Iraq back in 2004.
The veteran has since got a master’s degree in counselling, and helps other former military personal re-adjust to civilian life.

Halle's turn as iconic Batman character Catwoman in the eponymous 2004 film was quite the flop, garnering just $82 million from a $100 million budget.
But it has become something of a kitsch classic despite, or perhaps because of, being what critics described as a 'laughable action thriller.'
Memorable quotes from Halle in the film include, 'the day I died was the day I started to live,' 'somebody killed me and I've got to find out who and why,' and the evergreen, 'cats come when they feel like it, not when they're told.'
Being surrounded by sports stars will not have been much of a novelty for Halle, who was previously married to baseball hunk David Justice from 1993 until 1997.

They split up in acrimonious circumstances, with the actress seeking a restraining order against the former Cleveland Indians slugger.
Halle has had another of her troublesome exes on her mind this week however.
For her child support trial against Gabriel Aubry was slated to begin in Los Angeles on Tuesday after she filed court documents late last year asking a judge to reduce the amount of money she is paying.
The Extant star is coughing up the cash to help the Canadian model care for their seven-year-old daughter Nahla, and would reportedly like it reduced from $16,000 to approximately $3,800 per month.
