She is clearly intent upon making the most of her pregnancy.

Halle Berry, who recently announced she was expecting a child with French fiance Oliver Martinez, has been rocking her maternity wear.

But she opted for something a little more earthy as she sported a hippie-inspired blouse while running some errands in Beverly Hills, on Tuesday.

This will be the 46-year-old's second child - but first with Martinez - as she shares a daughter with French Canadian model Gabriel Aubry.

Looking every bit the satisfied mother, Halle donned a baggy pair of denim pants with the cuffs rolled up.

Adorning her feet were bright blue rubber flip flops as she kept a low-profile in aviator sunglasses.

Relaxed and comfortable: Halle opted for a retro look, reminiscent of 1970s bohemian style,  as she enjoyed the warm weather 

While walking leisurely in the sunshine, the Oscar winner looked relaxed and at ease as she kept a gentle hold on her growing belly.

News of her pregnancy came as a shock to Halle, who thought she had kidney stones when she first went in for a check up with the doctor.

'I was at the doctor's when they told me and I was completely shocked,' she told Hello! magazine last month. 'I didn't see it coming. I went to the doctor because I thought I had kidney stones or something.' 

But she and her husband-to-be were thrilled at the news. 'Olivier and I have always wanted to be parents, but I didn't want to get my hopes up.'

But if Halle knows whether she is expecting a boy or a girl, she won't say.

'We don't know what we're having,' the Cloud Atlas actress teased. 'We're having a baby, that's for sure.'

In the meantime, The Monster's Ball star is currently shooting the highly-anticipated sequel X-Men: Days of Future Past.

Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence, Oscar winner Anna Paquin, Peter Dinklage, Michael Fassbender, and Hugh Jackman also star in the flick due out July 18 of next year.
