The couple wed yesterday in a "down-to-earth" ceremony at the plush Chateau des Conde in Vallery, France, according to reports.
The newlyweds are said to have exchanged vows during a civil ceremony, which was then followed by a religious service at the Chateau.
Around 60 guests attended the bash - including Halle's five-year-old daughter Nahla.
Snaps showed Halle, 46, who was wearing what appeared to be a white dress with embellished straps, arriving at the venue in a white vintage Citroen DS.
The star, who is expecting a son with Olivier, 47, later this year, was then shielded from prying eyes, as she made her way into the building, by security men who held up white sheets.
An insider told Us Weekly magazine: "White marquees were put up, and everyone was very discreet because it was a showbusiness wedding. But generally it was pretty down to earth."
The couple are reported to have enjoyed a celebratory dinner, fireworks display and dancing.
The source added: "They all partied long into the night."
This is the third marriage for Monster's Ball star Halle.
She was previously wed to baseball player David Justice and R&B singer Eric Benet.
And after her second marriage ended in divorce, Halle insisted she would not be walking down the aisle again.
She said: "I will never, never get married again."
But a close friend recently revealed how meeting Olivier, who previously dated Kylie Minogue, had changed her mind.
The pal added: "She trusts Olivier. He makes her feel safe. He's a keeper!"
Halle and Olivier began dating after meeting on the set of Dark Tides in August 2010.
They announced their engagement less than two years later in March 2012.
Despite expecting her second child around October, former Bond girl Halle is showing no signs of slowing down in her professional life.
She revealed recently: "There's a movie called Shoe Addicts Anonymous that's a comedy.
"I've been wanting to do a rom-com for a very long time, and this is my chance. That could happen very soon after I have my next child.
"I started off doing rom-coms early in my career, but after Monster's Ball everybody thought that's all I wanted to do or should do."
