'I'm healthy and I'm happy': Halle Berry opens up about baby Maceo, laments lack of sleep and reveals she's not concerned about her post-baby body
Like any mom of a newborn, Halle Berry had nothing but praise for seven-month-old Maceo Robert, her son with actor husband Olivier Martinez.
While participating in the 21st annual Revlon Run/Walk for Women in Los Angeles on Saturday, the 47-year-old actress gushed to People about her bundle of joy.
'[He's] perfect, just perfect. More love, more joy — having a new baby in your family brings that,' she said.

Still, like any mom with an infant in the house, she's craving rest right about now.
'[A new baby means] less sleep,” the stunner told the magazine. 'And I’m working on the TV show, [Extant]. It’s a new grind, it’s a new rhythm. We’re trying to get used to that. We’re managing.'
As an actress, there is always the pressure to look good, but the Oscar winner isn't concerning herself with the dreaded 'post-baby body.'
Strength in numbers: Also at the event to raise awareness for women's cancers were: Brooke Anderson, Christina Applegate, Bruce Willis, Liy Tartikoff and Lisa Paulsen
'I’m healthy and that’s really good. When you’re nursing you can’t really diet because you have to keep producing milk,' the mom of two told People.
Berry is also mom to six-year-old Nahla, her daughter with ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubrey.
'Listen, I’m healthy and I’m happy and that’s all that matters,' she said.

She was also reluctant to offer advice to her former costar Bruce Willis, who also is a dad of a newborn: 'Well, I’m nursing right now,' she joked. 'I don’t think he’s nursing himself so I don’t know what I could tell him.'
The mom was given the star treatment on Sunday when she stepped out for lunch with her nearest and dearest.
She was treated to some Mother’s Day pampering from Olivier, Nahla and Maceo on a sunny afternoon at the popular Mediterranean eatery Fig & Olive in West Hollywood, where they enjoyed a light brunch.

Halle looked casual in a sleeveless black blouse and trendy ripped jeans as she made her way back to their car later that day, a matching leather handbag slung over her left arm.
With a pair of black ankle boots rounding off a subdued look for the Hollywood star, she helped French hunk Olivier as he grappled with seven-month old Maceo’s carriage.
Earlier that day Olivier, 48, enjoyed a bonding session with young Nahla when they ventured out to pick up a Mother’s Day cake from Bristol Farms in Beverly Hills. He was also seen carrying a huge bouquet of flowers.

The actor was in good spirits as he doted his six-year old stepchild, who looked adorable in a white cardigan and printed pink dress with matching sandals.
Meanwhile Halle is preparing for the release of the sci-fi drama Extant, in which she plays Molly Watts, a woman struggling to reconnect with her scientist husband John, played by Goran Visnjic, after spending a year in space in a solo mission.
Molly is infertile so John finds a way for them to have a child by building the first prototype of a future line of human-like robots known as Humanichs.
The show, which premieres July 9 on CBS, will follow Halle's character as she adapts to family life as a wife and mother.
The series is being filmed using an actual NASA shuttle, with wires used to give the effect of gravity.
Steven Spielberg is an executive producer on the show, which also stars Pierce Gagnon and Camryn Manheim.

'As a woman, when I read this, it was such a strong character,' the Monster's Ball actress told People magazine last month.
'I always gravitate toward strong, complicated woman characters. When I heard Steven Spielberg is a part of it, I thought, wow, that is another big reason to be a part of it.'
