Halle Berry is chic in vintage Roberto Cavalli.
Showcasing the works of fashion photographers including Man Ray, Herb Ritts, Albert Watson, and Matthew Rolston, the exhibit explores how feminine beauty is defined, challenged, and revered in modern society.
Just as stunning as the images were the guests at the celebrity-packed event. Holmes was dressed to impress in an olive green Madewell dress and cream Lanvin blazer; Berry looked chic in a vintage cream Roberto Cavalli suit, and Bündchen dazzled in a black Gisele Bündchen for C&A jacket and matching Alexander Wang skirt.
Though One Tree Hill actress Sophia Bush wowed in a yellow and black Z Spoke by Zac Posen Spring 2011 dress, she was completely blown away by a different woman in the room.
“The #BeautyCulture exhibit in LA is fantastic & thought provoking. And I got to chat with one of my fashion icons #AlekWek!! Love her,” she tweeted, along with a pic of herself with the supermodel.
Burlesque star Dita Von Teese performed for the crowd—which included Emmy Rossum, Estella Warren, Jenny McCarthy, Olivia Munn, and Jordana Brewster—and shared her own beauty secret with fans afterward. Asked if she does her own makeup for public appearances, Von Teese tweeted, “95% of the time… The only time I don’t is for certain photo shoots.”
